Brad Youngman
For Sheriff
I’m Brad Youngman, and I am running for re-election as Daviess County Sheriff because I believe Daviess County deserves safe homes, safe schools, and safe streets.

About Brad Youngman
I have dedicated my life to keeping people safe. Whether it was those who I served beside in Iraq and Afghanistan or the citizens of Daviess County, protecting and serving others has always been my focus.
BRAD'S FIRST TERM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
During my time as Sheriff, I have focused on strengthening the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office from the ground up to better serve our community. We’ve added more patrol deputies on the roads, modernized our uniforms and equipment, and expanded our patrol fleet with new 4x4 trucks and ATVs. I have prioritized transparency through consistent media communication and launched a new website, email system, and updated computers for the entire department. We opened a Whitesville Field Office and relocated our Criminal Investigations Division to its own facility with improved evidence storage.
Under my leadership, we established a dedicated Drug Investigations Unit and began working directly with the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office on human trafficking investigations. Our department also joined the KSP Drug Task Force, ATF Violent Crime Task Force, and ICE Task Force to enhance our ability to fight serious and organized crime. We hired a cold case detective to pursue long-unsolved cases, fixed longstanding issues with evidence collection and storage, and strengthened court security by arming, training, and adding full-time positions.
We’ve also equipped our deputies with body-worn cameras, created a streamlined process for paying property taxes online, and continued to make investments that ensure our deputies have the tools, technology, and support needed to keep Daviess County safe.
